If you are looking for a home that isn't likely to have Homeowners Association costs and rules, you're going to want to visit Canyon Country. Steering clear of patio homes? Canyon Country. Located in eastern Santa Clarita, Canyon Country offers (for the most part) a quieter, less restrictive, less flashy lifestyle than say, Valencia. But times are changing.

That part earlier, where I mentioned larger lots, no Mello Roos and few HOA's? Things are starting to even out in that department, as new developments like Fair Oaks Ranch, Aliento, Vidta Canyon and Sand Canyon Plaza take shape. They'll bring with them, a new Metrolink stop, a smaller version of Valencia Town Center complete with smaller movie theater, and lots of pedestrian friendly neighborhood planning.
Valencia? No. Canyon Country... in 2020.
